Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students and part-time jobs. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance as compared to the performance of her peers. She began considering different options. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work for her debut album as a solo artist Diva and it came out in 1992. This album became a huge success, both in terms of sales and the critical acclaim. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P.
