In her memoir Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick admitted that in the shows fifth season she almost lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. In the moment, she was just 16 years old and he was 19. The incident would have happened as she describes. But, the time of our romance was not right.
