Rebecca Romijn, an American actress who was a former model. She is famous for her performance as Mystique, the character from the very first three-part episode of the American superhero series X-Men. Romijn was a part of the Marvel filmcalled "The Punisher", in which she portrayed Joan. From the time she began her career as a model Romijn has worked for top companies like Christian Dior, Sports Illustrated as well as Victoria's Secret. She spent a decade modeling for major fashion houses, but then resigned from that area of work in order to pursue her acting career. Romijn was more successful in her career on television that in Hollywood. She portrayed "Alexis Mead" in the comedy-drama "Ugly Betty" in the following year, before playing her role as "Jessie Nichols" in the NTSF series SD: SUV.
