
An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis started her career as an actor for children in TV commercials. As a little girl Davis became a regular presenter on Charles In Charge. The show ranked number one in the syndication ratings. Josie received three nominations as well as receiving the prestigious Youth In Film Award in recognition of her role as Sarah Powell. As an adult and the main character in several television shows, Davis was awarded the prestigious two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis could have the chance to enter USC's writing program. She decided to focus on acting, and she studied with Paul E Richards, who died in 1998and taught for 20 years. In the age group of twenty four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood bigwigs like Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. After just one audition, Davis was admitted to the legendary Actors Studio as a member that had working privileges. She became a Lifetime member just after her second callback. Davis was among only two performers accepted during the auditions that year from over 1,000 applicants.
